let it go.. it will happen

in one of my yoga sessions:

It was funny that the more I tried my best to do a pose (asana) -especially the look-like-very-difficult ones- the more I could not do it.  I fell and got up to try again. And fell again. And again.

 And then  my yoga teacher,  half screaming, reminded me, “do not think, just do it and listen to the music. The more you think you want to overcome it, the more your brain will distract you. It is all about acceptance, not will power. If you can not do one pose, what the heck, it will happen someday. All you need to do is just breathe… and smile, please!”…

 And after she finished her sentence, I thought, ”yeah she’s right, what the heck”.  And at that second, all of sudden, I did it! I did the pose, successfully. Even stayed for more than a minute.
